He was VAC banned on 5th December 2017. I am not sure if he was banned in the Source Engine as the VAC ban could be regarded to another engine so he would be able to continue playing on our servers.

He is an obvious cheater using wallhack anyone can tell watching him or playing against him.
This is pathetic...as admins you say that its okay to cheat with another account and you wont ban unless the account cheating with is used on the server? How stupid is that. VAC does NOT stop main cheats - FACT! Thats the reason why so many anti cheat server mods came out and let me guess...you run 0 of them.
Google and see how many work on VAC. You say person related bans are not possible...what a load of crap, yes they are, you ban as an admin on YOUR SERVERS and kick the cheater out of c2play, its that simple.
By your standards I can buy a cheap copy of css for £4 create a new account on steam and just cheat on all your servers but because VAC wont detect the cheat you will not use your eyes and observe and ban me...what smart logic.
So if admins chose to be ignorant about these issues then we know where c2play stands on cheating...with the cheaters.

Person related bans are possible when you're able to identify persons over the internet in an accurate and legal way. There is no accurate way to do this and at least in Europe it would be illegal to do this.
As a result a banned player can just use another Steam account and can continue playing.

1) We do not have to ban his already known account when he has a VAC ban as this already prevents him to join the server with that account in the future. So an additional ban is not needed.
2) Second if we would ban his account this does not prevent him from creating a new Steam account with a new Steam-ID as VAC bans by Valve are also not person related.
And at latest it does not matter if a player is a friend of an admin as rules apply to all players.
