Not sure if the minimum level/xp requirement to voteban is a new thing but it seems counter intuitive.

The number of people required to voteban based on players in the server takes into account the people that can't voteban due to a low level.

This means the function can't be used effectively if there are lots of low level players on the server as they can't make use of the function.

This is not new

The requirement has been there since 21st June 2024 (Version 3.0.3.1009) with a modification which made it a bit stricter on 21st July 2025 (Version 3.0.3.1178). It does not only depend on the actual level, but also on the age of the Steam account.

It is there to simply protect against abuse.

What difficulties did you encounter? Votebans against cheaters which did not work?

Ahh ok, not something I'd come across before. Yes exactly that someone we thought was cheating but the last person who could vote tried and wasn't able too.

I know your all very busy and the in game report doesn't always get acted on.

It's unfortuantely an important safetey measure, because if the requirements for votebans would be too low, we would on the other side be required to make the rules stricter which then would lead to bans for false votebans. All not so easy.
